However, when you import a saved search criterion from Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition into Outlook for Mac 2011, it is converted to a subfolder in your new Inbox.

Exchange accounts are excluded when importing accounts from into Outlook for Mac Exchange accounts are not included when you import data from into Outlook for Mac.

To use your Exchange account, set up the account in Outlook for Mac.

Outlook for Mac does not support “direct booking” as does Outlook for Windows Direct booking is feature and Outlook for Mac uses Exchange Web Services.

All my virtual directories and URLs were fine, and the OAB was being generated fine without any issues. I couldn’t find any references of this occurring to other users.

I finally discovered that the “Web Distribution Enabled” configuration flag was marked to False, when it needs to be marked as True.

Now go to the exchange management console, Organization Configuration, Mailbox, Offline Address Book open the properties of the Default Offline Address List and go to the tab distribution.

Uncheck “Outlook version 2 and 3” at client support and “Enable public folder distribution”. Choose apply and ok, then right click on Default Offline Address List and choose update.

When trying to perform a manual download (Send and Receive - Download Address Book), it wasn’t in the list.

After migrating your Exchange server (I’ve seen this in transition to exchange 20) the Public Folder Database for your Offline Address Book is still pointing to the old servers public folder store.

When you run the command in a exchange management shell on your new server, you get a result like this: At Server you see the new servername and the Public Folder Database is still pointing to your old server.

This flag when set to true, allows it to be distributed (Note/Fun Fact: There’s a separate and different flag for older Exchange versions where the OAB is inside of the Public Folder Store).

There’s also a different flag “Global Web Distribution Enabled”, which is recommended to be enabled as well on Exchange 2016.

When setting this second flag to True, it also sets the first one above to True as well.
